First of all, we know how much it takes to try out a new place or a new community. Way to go on taking that first step- we hope to make it as easy on you as we can!

Mosaic United Methodist Church was first formed on November 6th, 2022 at the Cypress Alamo. The group that met that day were United Methodists that were eager about creating a new space in the Northwest Houston for worship. Since November, Mosaic United Methodist Church has continued to grow, both spiritually and numerically. We are still early in our story, but we are excited about where God has led us already and where God will continue to take us!

Where do I find you?

We currently worship at Bleyl Middle School - 10800 Mills Rd, Houston, TX 77070
Parking and the main entrance can be found off Mills Road in between Copeland Dr. and Jones Rd. There is a large entryway at the front and greeters will be in the main parking lot to assist you.

What Should I expect?

At Mosaic UMC, you’ll find a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone belongs. Our Sunday worship service is a time to connect with God and with one another through music, scripture, and a meaningful message.

Worship at Mosaic is a blend of contemporary songs, traditional hymns, and everything in between. We read scripture together, hear an inspiring message, and leave ready to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. We have one worship service on sunday mornings at 10:30am and last about an hour, ending at 11:30am

What should I wear?

We’re a welcoming and casual worship community! On Sundays, you’ll find people dressed in everything from t-shirts and jeans to sports coats and slacks—so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Come as you are!

What about my Children?

We love welcoming kids and students at Mosaic!

On Sundays at 10:30 AM, we offer a Kids Worship Experience for infants through 5th graders in the Teaching Theater. If you're new, stop by the First-Time Guest Station—we’d love to help you find your way! On the first Sunday of each month, kids worship with their families and share in Holy Communion together.

Students are encouraged to attend worship on Sunday Mornings and also gather on Sundays afternoons from 3-5 PM at The Cy-Hope Lodge for connection and fun. Cy-Hope Lodge - 12715 Telge Rd, Cypress, TX 77429
