Advent is the season of waiting for Jesus to arrive – and it’s also a time when Mary comes center stage. For thousands of years, Christians have called her many names: Theotokos (“Bearer of God” or “House of God”), Our Lady of Guadalupe, the First Disciple, and many more.
So this Advent season, as we prepare for Jesus to arrive, let’s get to know Mary a little bit better, filling out her ordinary, extraordinary, inspiring portrait – all the while learning how we, too, can make our homes (and our hearts!) “houses of God.”

“Here Comes Heaven” comes with both:

Advent materials will be available at worship on Sundays.
Christmas Eve is a time each year where we gather in great anticipation for the birth of Christ, and the joy and total life-change that it brings us. It’s a time where we remember that God came down to be with us in human form, in the middle of our brokenness, to bring love to us in a way that has forever shaped the world.
At Mosaic United Methodist Church, we will have two opportunities for Christmas Eve worship: a children's interactive service at 3:00 PM and an evening service at 5:00 PM. You can find information about each of these services below.
